You’re engaged — we’ve got you
Just engaged? Start here.
Take a breath. We help newly engaged couples turn big ideas into a clear plan — dresses, design, planning and décor, with expert advice and zero pressure.
The first week: do almost nothing
Genuinely. The pressure to immediately book something is coming from the internet, not from reality.
Tell the people you want to tell. Look at the ring in odd lighting. Let it be nice for a minute.
The one thing worth doing early is talking — just the two of you — about roughly how many people you want in the room and roughly what you are comfortable spending. Everything else downstream depends on those two numbers, and nobody can help you properly until they exist even in a rough form.
The order that actually works
Most of the stress in wedding planning comes from doing things in the wrong sequence.
- Guest count and budget, roughly. Not final. Rough.
- A date range and a venue. These decide each other. A venue's availability will narrow your date far faster than a date will narrow your venue.
- The big vendors. Whoever books up first in your area — photographer, caterer, and coordination if you want it.
- The dress. We recommend starting 10 to 14 months out, mostly to leave room for alterations. Because we sell off the rack, a shorter timeline still works — you can take a gown home the day you find it.
- Design and décor. This is deliberately later. A décor plan built before you have a venue is a décor plan you will redo.
- Everything else. Which is a much shorter list than it currently feels like.
Before you panic-book anything
The thing people most regret is spending early money on something that did not end up mattering to them.
A useful test: if you removed this entirely, would a guest notice? Would you notice, in ten years, looking at the photographs? A lot of the standard wedding checklist fails both.
We will tell you when something is not worth the money. That is not a marketing line — it is most of what our first conversation with a couple consists of. Plenty of people leave a consultation having decided to spend less than they arrived planning to.
Where we fit
You can use us for one thing or for all of it, and there is no penalty for the former.
- Just the dress? Book a bridal appointment. Sizes 4 to 32, off the rack.
- Just the décor? Browse the catalogue, build a list, and we will quote it. Pick it up yourself if you want.
- Not sure yet? The $75 Start-Here session is a guided conversation that ends with you knowing what to do next. It is credited toward anything you book within 30 days, and it is explicitly not a sales call.
Whatever you reach out about, we call back within 24 hours, and we confirm your investment range before anything else happens.
Tell us what you’re dreaming about.
Come as you are, tell us what you’re picturing, and we’ll figure out how to make it happen — together. We call back within 24 hours.
