Privacy policy

This website has no shop, no cart and no payment processing. Nothing you do here charges you anything.

The only information we collect is what you type into a contact or enquiry form, plus a small amount of anonymous technical data needed to keep the site working and to stop automated spam. We do not sell anything to anybody.

When you submit a form. Your name, email address, and whatever else you choose to give us — phone number, event date, the service you are interested in, your message, and any rental items you added to your list. You control all of it, because you type it.

Automatically. Standard server information such as your browser type and the pages you visited. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to tell humans apart from bots; it processes limited technical signals from your browser for that purpose and nothing else.

What we do not collect. We do not take payment details on this website. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not build a profile of you across other websites.

To answer you. That is the whole purpose.

If you enquire about a dress, a date or a list of rental pieces, we use what you sent to reply, to prepare a quote, and to have a sensible conversation with you. If you become a client, we use it to do the work you hired us for.

We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in a contact form.

Our own team, and the service providers who host this site and deliver our form submissions and email. They process it on our instructions and for no other purpose.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

We may disclose information if we are legally required to.

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful to the conversation, and client records for as long as we need them for our business and tax obligations.

If you would like us to delete your information, ask. We will, unless we are legally required to keep a record.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@somethingbluebride.com or call 515.339.7006 and a person will deal with it.

Your rental list is stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data clears it. It only reaches us if you choose to send it.

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen.

If this policy changes we will update it here, along with the date at the top of the page.
